Essential Oils for Allergy Support

Spring has officially sprung, which means plants and flowers are blooming…. and for many people, this also means that allergies are in full force. Do you suffer from allergic rhinitis or chronic congestion? Have you tried essential oils for your itchy, watery eyes, coughing and sneezing during the spring and fall? Allergies are no fun at all. But the good news is that there are essential oils that can help with your allergies! Natural solutions for the win!

Essential oils have amazing healing properties when it comes to the body’s immune response involved in allergic reactions, which is why many allergy sufferers have turned to essential oils to help ease their seasonal allergy discomfort.

Most commonly used are Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oils. You can use this combination aromatically, topically, and internally.

  • To use aromatically, diffuse 2-3 drops of each oil in periodic intervals throughout the day and night.
  • To use topically, make yourself a roller bottle by adding 10 drops of each lavender, lemon and peppermint to a 10ml roller bottle and fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil. Apply to the bottom of your feet throughout the day.

These have become the #1 way to combat allergy symptoms in essential oil users and have knocked those over-the-counter antihistamines to the curb. You can also make your own softgels by adding 1-2 drops of each oil into an empty veggie capsule.
